The third quarter of 2021 showed interesting trends for dance games on the iOS platform in Germany. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top 5 dance games during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Just Dance Now by Ubisoft exhibited a notable fluctuation in weekly revenue, peaking at around $831 in mid-July and then experiencing a decrease, ending the quarter at approximately $499. The game's weekly downloads saw a significant increase in early August, reaching over 2.2K, and another surge at the end of September with nearly 2K downloads. Active users also peaked in early August with over 4.3K users but later stabilized around 2K towards the end of the quarter.

Dance Clash: Ballet vs Hip Hop from Coco Play had a relatively stable performance. Weekly revenue peaked at $63 at the end of June, then fluctuated modestly before ending the quarter at $33. Downloads saw a high of 556 in early August and gradually declined to around 251 by the end of September. Active users followed a similar trend, starting strong at 877 in late July and ending the quarter at 467.

Ice Skating Ballerina, also by Coco Play, showed a peak in revenue at $86 in late July, then saw a decline, with a slight uptick to $38 at the end of September. Downloads were highest at 440 in early August, tapering off to 202 by the end of September. Active users mirrored this pattern, peaking at 703 in early August and decreasing to 313 by the end of the quarter.

Acrobat Star Show, another title from Coco Play, had a peak revenue of $61 in early August but saw no revenue for the last few weeks of the quarter. Downloads spiked to 715 in early August, then declined to 164 by the end of September. Active users peaked at 868 in early August and settled around 259 by the quarter's end.

Finally, Pole Dance! by Rollic Games had no revenue throughout the quarter. Its downloads peaked at 285 in late July but saw a significant drop to 62 by the end of September. Active users were relatively stable, starting at 1.7K at the end of June and maintaining around 1.4K towards the end of September.
